It would seem our previous reporting about tension between Bill Belichick’s daughter-in-law, Jennifer Schmitt, and his much younger girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, was spot on.

If anything, it’s worse than we could have imagined.

Following a University of North Carolina football victory over Stanford in early November, Schmitt (Jen Belichick) reportedly launched into a profanity-laced, 40-minute tirade against Jordon inside Bill’s office at Kenan Memorial Stadium.

The best part? He was right there!

According to a New York Post exclusive, the outburst was witnessed by the grizzled veteran coach, Jen’s husband Steve Belichick (UNC’s defensive coordinator), and a handful of others.

What did she say to Jordon Hudson?

The Post story might be a gossipy, TMZ-esque article, but they do cite multiple sources who were privy to the tirade unleashed on Jordon Hudson.

Terms like “bats*** crazy” were tossed around. Bill is lucky it didn’t evolve into a flat-out brawl.

Schmitt, the sources state, screamed at Hudson about how all she “does is control s***,” called Bill’s muse “bats*** crazy,” and accused the 24-year-old of “f***ing twisting” her father-in-law’s brain.

We ran those statements through the ol’ Bounding Into Sports fact-checking machine and found them to be “true.”

The witnesses to Schmitt’s unbridled rage also contend that she was willing to throw it all away to get her feelings out, whether that meant Steve losing his job or the couple being “disowned.”

“You choose your family or you choose” Hudson, she allegedly threatened.

Tension abounds

Earlier this month, Bounding Into Sports reported on images that surfaced after that Stanford game, appearing to show tension between Belichick’s daughter-in-law and Jordon Hudson.

Schmitt and Hudson reportedly kept their distance and didn’t even look in each other’s direction. Things were boiling below the surface, it seems.

Schmitt has also ripped Hudon publicly after Jordon famously nixed a question about her relationship with the eight-time Super Bowl-winning coach during a CBS interview.

“Publicists act in a professional manner, and don’t ‘storm’ off set delaying an interview,” she said at the time.

Things have gotten so much worse as Schmitt desperately tries to talk some sense into the coach.

Following that win against Stanford and the shaming of Hudson, the Tar Heels lost ugly to Wake Forest, 28-12, dropping their record to 4-6 (2-4 in the ACC) on the year. They face Duke (5-5, 4-2 in the ACC) later today.
