Bill Belichick‘s first season as head coach of the University of North Carolina football team in 2025 ended on a disappointing note, with the Tar Heels finishing 4-8 overall and 2-6 in conference play. Amid the tumultuous year was one constant—Jordon Hudson and the circus she brings with her.

The couple’s year has been marked by controversies, including leaked emails and a notable CBS interview. Hudson, the 24-year-old cheerleader, faced significant public scrutiny over her involvement with the program.

But she’s not letting the haters bring her down in 2026. Just as she wouldn’t let them bring her down last year.

Hudson reposted an old Instagram message from New Year’s 2025, featuring a photo of her and her 73-year-old curmudgeonly boyfriend celebrating with a champagne toast.

“Nothing changed for us in 2024 except for ‘public knowledge’; yet, somehow everything changed,” she captioned the original post. “Fourth calendar year; Going strong. I can’t wait to take punches for you in 2025.”

“Keep swinging, Keyboard Warriors. Your illusion of righteousness only fuels my authenticity.”

Hudson didn’t add any new commentary, indicating she’s feeling the same way this year.

One of The Haters is Family

Belichick’s daughter-in-law, Jen Schmitt, happens to be one of the haters of Belcihick and Jordon Hudson’s relationship. Schmitt got into a heated altercation with Hudson, berating her for nearly an hour over her relationship with the elderly coach.

Schmitt was reportedly heard hurling insults about Jordon’s influence, appearance, and fashion choices. It was glorious!

Schmitt reportedly screamed at Hudson about how all she “does is control s***,” called Bill’s muse “bats*** crazy,” and accused the 24-year-old of “f***ing twisting” her father-in-law’s brain.

The witnesses to Schmitt’s unbridled rage also contend that she was willing to throw it all away to get her feelings out, whether that meant (Belichick’s son) Steve losing his job or the couple being “disowned.”

“You choose your family, or you choose (Hudson)”, she allegedly threatened.

Jordon Hudson Spotted With a Big Ol’ Ring

Jordon Hudson sparked engagement rumors by wearing a large ring engraved with a “B”—commemorating her 2021 national cheerleading championship at Bridgewater State University—on the sideline before the Tar Heels’ game against Duke earlier this season.

The keyboard warriors all speculated whether it was an engagement ring.

Persistent engagement speculation was fueled by earlier reports, including Belichick renaming his boat to “I + VIII Rings.”

Belichick, following a disappointing first season as head coach that ended UNC’s bowl streak and prompted staff changes, attended a cheerleading competition in Atlanta to support Jordon Hudson.

Hudson captained her team, Code Black, in the Cheer Extreme All-Stars event.

Photos captured the couple smiling together, with Belichick dressed casually in a button-down shirt, jeans, and a Navy submarine cap while watching from the bleachers.

Whatever you might think, it’s clear the two support each other, and quite frankly, they don’t care what fans think.
