Jordon Hudson, the 24-year-old girlfriend of UNC football coach Bill Belichick, was spotted on the sideline during the Tar Heels’ warmups before their game against Duke on Saturday.

The fact that she’s still roaming the sidelines while the team limps through a disastrous season is a problem. But the folks at UNC don’t seem to see it that way.

Anyway, the former cheerleader was prominently wearing a large ring that, naturally, fueled engagement rumors.

Alas, ’twas not to be. The ring was engraved with a “B” from Hudon’s college cheerleading days. Hudson was a cheer star for Bridgewater State when her squad won a National Cheerleaders Association Collegiate Championship in 2021.

Jordon Hudson’s appearance with her blinged-out ring came a day after Belichick was seen supporting her at a Cheer Extreme All Stars exhibition in Raleigh, where she performed with a coed squad.

Photos captured Belichick on the sidelines wearing – you’re never going to guess this – a gray sweatshirt!

It’s good that Hudson was able to show off her ring. It’s not like she and Belichick will be getting an ACC championship ring anytime soon.

They lost their game to Duke on Saturday, 32-25, ending their bowl hope for the season. Despite a late comeback that gave UNC a brief one-point lead, the Tar Heels fell to Duke on a touchdown and two-point conversion in the final minutes, dropping their record to 4-7.

Rumors always flying

The game occurred amid ongoing family tensions, highlighted by a heated altercation when Belichick’s daughter-in-law, Jen Schmitt, berated Jordon Hudson for nearly an hour over her relationship with the elderly coach.

Schmitt was heard hurling insults about Jordon’s influence, appearance, and fashion choices. It was glorious!

Schmitt reportedly screamed at Hudson about how all she “does is control s***,” called Bill’s muse “bats*** crazy,” and accused the 24-year-old of “f***ing twisting” her father-in-law’s brain.

Hudson and Belichick are always sparking engagement rumors. They know how to play the media. Belichick helps fuel the rumors himself. Last spring, he re-named his boat.

The eight-time Super Bowl champion (six as a head coach, two as an assistant) changed the name of his boat from “VIII Rings” to “I + VIII Rings.”

Hudson helped the rumor mill by telling a friend she was engaged to the grizzled, legendary football coach.

These sightings are intentional, of course, a means to keep her name in the spotlight even as the couple pretends not to want to talk about their relationship.
