Last week, we reported that the golf legend Tiger Woods is allegedly dating Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr. Now, Vanessa’s golf star daughter Kai Trump has had a massive meltdown after a disastrous round of golf.
Hopefully it’s not the stress of the new relationship!
Kai Crumbles On Golf Course
Kai, 17, had a first round at the renowned Junior Invitational golf tournament that was nothing short of a disaster. Indeed, she ended up at the very bottom of the leaderboard after shooting a whopping 17-over-par.
Kai initially started well at the event, which is held at Sage Valley in South Carolina. Followed by her Secret Service detail, the president’s granddaughter stayed level through the first five holes. From there, however, things quickly went downhill.
Over the next 13 holes, Kai dropped a staggering 17 shots. Kai could not help but have a meltdown as she tumbled down the leaderboard. She was spotted looking dejected and frequently grimacing as her score got worse and worse. Daily Mail described what went down as being an “on-course meltdown” for Kai.
Kai ended the day ranked 24th out of 24 female competitors. With three days left of play, Kai is six shots behind the golfer who is in 23rd place. Meanwhile, the leaders are 19 shots ahead of Kai.
Safe to say, she won’t be coming back from this one.
Kai will desperately try to make her way up the leaderboard today, tomorrow, and Saturday. Even so, it’s an inauspicious start for a teenager who is widely being hailed as a future pro. Kai has already committed to playing golf at the University of Miami.

Kai’s Mother Is Dating Tiger Woods
This comes after it was revealed that Kai’s mother Vanessa has been dating Tiger Woods since Thanksgiving. Kai attends The Benjamin School in Florida with Tiger’s two children, Sam, 17, and Charlie, 16, who is also seen as a golf prodigy himself.
“Tiger and Vanessa have been seeing each other since just before Thanksgiving,” an insider recently told Daily Mail. “She comes to his place on Jupiter Island. They’re not living together. She comes over maybe a few nights a week.”
“They just love hanging out, having dinner and schmoozing together,” the source continued. “They’re sticking close to home, have decided not to make it a thing and go out in public. Not just yet anyway.”
Vanessa was married to Kai’s father Donald Jr. from 2005 until she filed for an uncontested divorce from him in 2018. She has not had a high profile public relationship in the years since they split.
Tiger was married to Elin Nordegren from 2004 until they divorced in 2010. He then dated the Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn for about two years in the 2010s.

Tiger And Vanessa Keep Things ‘Very Casual’
Earlier this week, another insider told People Magazine that Tiger and Vanessa’s relationship is “very casual” at this point. The couple has reportedly bonded over being golf parents to Kai and Charlie.
“Their kids are going places in golf and both very disciplined about the sport. They have that in common,” the insider alleged.
“Vanessa has always gone for guys who are either well known or have something big going for them,” this source explained. “She is comfortable with that, but she’s not a woman who wants to be in the limelight. She is not a shrinking violet but is discreet and smart and a good mother. That has come first in her life.”
Tiger and Vanessa were not seen watching when Kai competed on Wednesday. Here’s hoping that Kai can turn this Junior Invitational tournament around for herself!
