For the first time ever, Fox Sports has sold out all ad inventory for the 2025 Daytona 500 months in advance. This is the earliest sellout in network history for this event. Clearly, NASCAR is getting more valuable and the Daytona 500 is the hottest ad opportunity in the world of melting rubber.

The 2025 Daytona 500 is Sunday, February 16, 2:30 PM ET and kicks off the NASCAR Cup Series in a big way. Held at the iconic Daytona International Speedway, the race is 200 laps (500 miles) on the high-banked, 2.5-mile superspeedway. The front row is set through single-car qualifying, then the Duel at Daytona races set the rest of the field.

Reports indicate that some brands are spending over $500,000 for a 30-second spot, and most are spending between $400,000 and $450,000. This sellout this fast is a big deal for the event and NASCAR as a whole – not to mention the pretty premium on the cost.

The 2025 Daytona 500 has a whole lot of advertisers. Chipotle, Airbnb, and Meta are new to the party while Toyota, Chevy, and Chili’s are back. Toyota for example has a commercial called “Big 3” that showcases their partnerships with Joe Gibbs Racing, 23XI, and Legacy Motor Club.

To enhance viewer experience, Fox Sports has tripled the number of double-box ads, where the race is shown alongside ads so fans don’t miss important moments and advertisers get maximum exposure.

NASCAR’s Momentum Is Real

This ad surge comes after NASCAR announced a $7.7 billion media rights deal for 2025–2031, a 40% increase in annual value. New broadcast partners are Amazon Prime Video and TNT Sports to extend a broader audience across multiple platforms.

The 2025 Daytona 500 event is a big deal to NASCAR. It’s apparent that stock car racing as a sport underwent significant shifts in media and fans’ habits, so this ad interest might be the beginning of something big for the sport.
