San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey married former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo at the end of last month. Now, a hilarious “solid gold” moment from their wedding is going viral in a big way.
Viral ‘Solid Gold’ Moment
Christian, 28, and Olivia, 32, married in her home state of Rhode Island on June 29. On Monday of this week, Christian’s NFL legend father Ed McCaffrey took to social media to post a video of his wife Lisa tearing up the dance floor at the couple’s wedding reception.
“My daughter-in-law is already grabbing some SOLID GOLD CONTENT. Thank you Olivia for capturing Lisa in her natural habitat,” Ed captioned the video, adding the hashtag “#DancingQueen.”
Lisa was a good sport about the clip, as she posted it to her own Instagram page as well.
“So happy! Can’t stop dancing. I love my DIL!” she captioned the video.

Christian And Olivia’s History
Christian and Olivia had been dating since 2019, and they announced their engagement in April of 2023. Their wedding took place at the Watch Hill Chapel in Rhode Island, with their reception following at the luxurious Ocean House resort.
Culpo had previously dated athletes like Tim Tebow, Ryan Lochte, and Danny Amendola. After those experiences, she made a rule for herself not to date an athlete ever again. Once she met Christian, however, Olivia knew that she had to break this rule for him.
“He’s just the best, I feel like he is really everything that I could ever ask for,””Olivia told Entertainment Tonight in November of 2022. “So I never have to worry about anything. I think that was the reason why I didn’t want to date an athlete, no offense, because there is a reputation there.”
Christian’s family was a major draw for Olivia when it came to their relationship.
“He just comes from a great family,” she explained in that same interview. “We have a lot in common in that respect. I feel like you can really tell who a person is by the people that raise them, and I just love his parents so much. They have a great relationship.”
Since it was Olivia that captured Lisa’s “solid gold” moment at her wedding, it seems that the former beauty queen fits right in with them!

Christian Preparing For Next NFL Season
Now that his wedding is behind him, Christian is preparing for his second full season with the 49ers. Last month, he signed a two-year extension with the team. He previously spent the first five-and-a-half seasons of his career with the Panthers before being traded in October of 2022.
As for Olivia, she rose to fame when she won the Miss USA and then the Miss Universe pageants back in 2012. Since then, she has become a successful model and social media personality. Check out her winning moment at Miss Universe in the video below.
Last fall, Olivia said that she would “start trying immediately” for a baby after her wedding. Now that their wedding is behind them, you should not be surprised if Olivia and Christian welcome some little ones very soon!
