Turning Point USA (TPUSA), the conservative nonprofit organization founded by Charlie Kirk, has announced “The All-American Halftime Show,” a patriotic alternative concert set to air simultaneously with the NFL’s official Super Bowl halftime performance on February 8th.

The event, scheduled to begin around 8 p.m. ET, will feature a lineup of prominent country and rock artists in a direct rebuke to the NFL show featuring anti-ICE rapper, Bad Bunny.

Kid Rock will be headlining the show, joined by country-rock artist Brantley Gilbert, and country stars Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett. Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, is head and shoulders a better entertainer for football fans than the Lil’ Bunny fella.

“We’re approaching this show like David and Goliath,” Kid Rock said in a statement. “Competing with the pro football machine and a global pop superstar is almost impossible…or is it?”

There’s no doubt the NFL show will draw higher ratings, but there’s also no doubt that some true patriotic American football fans will switch over to the alternative halftime show. Good on TPUSA to give fans a choice.

All-American Halftime Show TPUSA: Kid Rock Leads Patriotic Alternative to Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Performance

TPUSA describes the show as an immersive, high-energy celebration of “faith, family, and freedom,” with “no agenda other than” those values. It aims to provide families and viewers seeking a different option during the Super Bowl break.

Why? Because the NFL clearly has no interest in faith, family, and freedom.

Having Bad Bunny as the halftime show headliner has already drawn significant backlash from President Trump and his supporters.

Trump has criticized the selection as “absolutely ridiculous” and highlighted the artist’s anti-American, pro-illegal immigration stance.

The rapper is a three-time Grammy winner known for his global popularity and Spanish-language hits. But Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, criticized law enforcement efforts to clean up the streets of criminals at his concerts.

“There was the issue of — like, (expletive) ICE could be outside my concert,” he said in an interview with Variety. “It was something we were very concerned about.”

He further raised the ire of those who support law enforcement with his speech at the Grammys last night.

“Before I say thanks to God, I’m going to say ICE out,” the artist said as he accepted an award. “We’re not savage, we’re not animals, we’re not aliens. We are humans, and we are Americans.”

Further infuriating decent Americans, reports suggest that Bad Bunny intends to wear a dress during his Super Bowl performance as a deliberate tribute to Puerto Rican “queer icons,” generations of drag culture, resistance, and cultural rebellion.

Kid Rock poked some fun at him.

“He’s said he’s having a dance party, wearing a dress, and singing in Spanish? Cool. We plan to play great songs for folks who love America,” Rock said.

In addition to Bad Bunny, the Super Bowl will see an appearance by Green Day, an aging alt-rock band that has referred to the President as a Nazi.

Gracie Hunt, the 25-year-old former Miss Kansas USA and heiress to the Kansas City Chiefs‘ empire, says she supports the alternative to the Super Bowl halftime show.

Football’s becoming the world sport, but, at its heart, it’s America’s sport built around family,” Hunt insisted. “When my grandfather named the Super Bowl, he intended it to be something children and families of all ages could come together and watch and really believed that the game should come first, that football is the attraction and that it didn’t need to compromise its character or rely on cheap appeal to draw an audience, especially when that approach can alienate so much of the fan base.”

That is a direct rebuke of the league for continuing to choose polarizing, mid-level entertainment acts solely to stir controversy and attract fringe viewers.
