Finding things to complain about while living in the developed and fruitful United States is easy, even if they are first-world problems such as waiting in line, dealing with slow wifi, or Amazon delivering something late. Well, one sports reporter found something so ridiculous to complain about that those who came across his complaint online ended up delivering the mocking of a lifetime.

AP NFL reporter John Wawrow decided to share his thoughts regarding a “cultural injustice” to Twitter, noting specifically how odd he thought it was that the Buffalo Bills don’t seem to play music by female artists on their practice soundtrack.

“Curious. Just dawned on me that the #Bills practice music soundtrack rarely, if ever, features a female act,” Wawrow posted.

While the remark might just be completely a benign observation, if the trend in professional sports has shown anything, its that if you want to ram through progressive causes on the field, in advertising, and just generally ruin the fun, find a way to accuse whole teams or players of somehow, someway, being even unintentionally sexist or racist.

We’re looking at you “Washington Commanders.”

Well, no good deed goes unpunished. As soon as Wawrow posted that tweet, utter hilarity ensued.

“Adele really gets the blood flowing,” one account replied.

“Are you going to be okay?” sarcastically asked Stephen Miller, editor for The Spectator, who also jumped into the fray.

Ed DeRosa, a contributor for Horse Racing Nation, took things a step further, asking Wawrow to go ahead and even suggest a more inclusive playlist containing songs by female artists who the players can get pumped up too.

Eventually, large accounts dedicated to sports highlights such as Old Row Sports decided to get into the verbal dogpile by retweeting Wawrow’s original tweet with a social justice warrior themed meme.

“Brave journalists when the bills aren’t playing enough female artists at practice,” Old Row sports captioned a meme.

Close to a thousand people have replied to the original tweet with mostly sarcastic responses, with hundreds more retweeting it with their own two-cents.

One reply though managed to become my personal favorite thus far.

“i actually agree john i really wanna see josh allen throwing bombs while flo milli blares in the background,” Twitter user @pissboymcgee replied.
