The wife of Los Angeles Rams starting quarterback Matthew Stafford has a message for those speculating about her current health situation: She doesn’t have cancer, despite what they might have heard.

Kelly Stafford posted a picture to her Instagram account on Wednesday with the text, “I do not have cancer,” after some reports misrepresented recent comments she made about her health. Both she and her husband have been very public figures since he was traded to Los Angeles in 2021. The move worked, as the former University of Georgia star would lead the Rams to a victory in Super Bowl LVI.

However, the signal caller’s wife, Kelly, has had to endure some scary medical moments along the way. The Stafford family’s journey has been well-documented, as Kelly has been very open about their life and her longtime marriage with the Pro Bowler (and her college sweetheart). However, she was forced to dismiss reports that speculated she may have cancer after she opened up on her podcast last week about her recent health issues.

“I’m infuriated,” Kelly Stafford posted. “Most of the time I wouldn’t care what people wrote because it didn’t matter.”

“THIS MATTERS. This matters because it takes away from the people who are fighting this horrible disease… fighting to live another day, fighting to be there with the ones they love, fighting 24/7. So PLEASE send your prayers to them. I will reiterate it again, I do not have cancer and I have never had cancer.”

“I’m so sorry again for the ones who are fighting. And to you so-called journalists out there, be better. And stop using me as clickbait because NFL camp is starting back.”

During last week’s episode of “The Morning After with Kelly Stafford,” she said she had undergone a number of tests, and expressed frustration about not having received the results at the time. However, she never mentioned cancer, and only said that it all had to do with ongoing issues with her menstrual cycle. Unfortunately, that didn’t stop tabloid journalists from wildly reaching on this one.
