What message does it send to young up-and-coming female athletes that the only way they can make money in the world of sports is to either strike it big or resort to creating pornography on OnlyFans? The question relates to Australian race car driver Renee Gracie, who proudly flaunts her OnlyFans account with adult-only content, something she does to supplement what she describes as insufficient income from racing alone.

Gracie, 28, is currently leading the GT World Challenge Australia’s GT Trophy Series, but she has made it clear that she fully intends to continue her semi-pornographic content on OnlyFans despite the time she has committed to competing, according to an interview she did with the UK-based tabloid The Sun.

According to Gracie, the only reason she feels she could take the time to commit to racing was due to the financial success she has achieved since actively creating content for and promoting her OnlyFans page. She originally left racing altogether six years ago due to the lack of a sustainable income.

Now, she’s even secured a sponsorship from the salacious platform, slapping their branding on her vehicle – proudly sending the message to young female athletes that if you can’t make money from what you’re good at, you can basically sell nudes and you’ll do fine.

Exactly the type of role model we want for young women with aspirations of becoming big time athletes, right?

“I will continue to run my OnlyFans page while racing,” she confirmed. “I’ve been doing it for four years now and feel my content keeps getting better and my passion for creating content is getting bigger and bigger. I have absolutely no plans to ever quit.”

She plans on doing “topless race recaps” and other photoshoots to remind people she’s a professional race car driver, and not just someone who takes their clothes off for money.

“Lots of fun things have been incorporated on my page and I love it.”

Is this female empowerment or is this degrading for women who are just as equally talented enough to compete with athletes who resort to this way of making money and a bigger name for themselves? Let us know in the comments below or across social media.
