Boxing champion Ebanie Bridges isn’t backing down from critics and supporters of the LGBTQ+ agenda which would freely allow biological men to compete against women in professional women’s sports. Since coming out in defense of the integrity of women’s sports, Bridges has admitted that this has resulted in some serious backlash online and has made her a target of this reality-denying movement.

Bridges, firmly stated her opposition to competing against biological men in boxing during an interview during the summer. The IBF female bantamweight champion emphasized the inherent physical differences between biological males and females, stating that even hormone treatments don’t negate the advantages of male physiology.

“I think it’s wrong, especially in boxing,” she said at the time. “I think in all sport. I just think a lot of women in sports that are breaking records weren’t originally women, and in a sport where you are trying to hurt the other person. You’re born (a) man. I don’t care what you say, how many hormones you’re taking, you’re still born (a) man.”

Bridges pointed out that in boxing specifically, a woman fighting against a man could be extremely dangerous.

“It’s like saying all of a sudden Mike Tyson wants to be a girl now, and he goes and fights you – no way! And how do you measure it?” she stated.

She argued that males competing as “transgendered” athletes have an unfair advantage in sports, especially in contact sports where physical strength is crucial. Bridges also noted the rarity of female-to-male transgender individuals competing in male-dominated sports. She did, however, support the idea of a separate category for transgender athletes to preserve the integrity of men’s and women’s boxing divisions.

This attempt was made in professional swimming, in which World Aquatics made a separate, open category for trans-athletes, however not a single swimmer entered whatsoever, causing the experiment to fail.

Bridges has now made it clear she isn’t going to let anyone pressure her into walking back her views or being quiet about it either.

“Everyone’s so scared to say anything,” Bridges said last Monday, according to a Fox News report. “But no matter what you say, people are gonna jump and turn on you. I think the reality is – I’m right, and it’s true.

“People are obviously scared, and I think with me speaking up with the kind of person that I am, such a big name in the sport and not just in the sport but in the general world, it gives other people the OK to speak up as well,” she continued. “It’s that simple because we’re not the fucking same. There’s a reason men don’t fight women. I don’t care if you’ve got boobies. You were still born a man.”
