In the video posted to Instagram Wednesday, Serena Williams mentioned that she had extra breast milk after her trip to New York and decided to donate it instead of taking it home.

“After going through a screening I was able to donate it instead of taking the milk home,” she announced to fans. “I know so many amazing women that adopt or are unable to make milk.”

She said the act of kindness “felt amazing.” Not to mention, some babies out there are going to be served a very special Christmas present from Momma Smash.

“BTW, someone out there is getting some super soldier milk,” she boasted.

Serena Williams Breast Milk Donation

Serena Williams’ act of kindness has been well-received by fans and the public, with many people praising her for her generosity and support for other mothers.

“My baby is adopted and ended up having severe dairy allergies, so we relied on donor milk,” one person responded. “It was such a gift to us and I’m always so grateful when I think about it!”

“With your diet and who you are I would drink that milk myself,” another quipped.

Another joked, “Some kids backhand just got stronger.”

Serena Is Super Excited About The Charitable Play

Serena Williams explained that her breast milk donation will be “anonymous” but she is “super excited to just help in some way.”

She has a rich history of taking part in charitable work.

As reported by Bounding Into Sports earlier this year, Williams collaborated with the nonprofit Helping Hands Jamaica to establish the Salt Marsh Primary School in Jamaica. Additionally, she lent her support to a myriad of charitable organizations, notably UNICEF, and has been championing causes as a Goodwill Ambassador since 2011.

Williams supports numerous other charitable efforts including the Elton John AIDS Foundation, the Small Steps Project, World Education, and the Cure for MND Foundation.

She’s simply one of the breast … er, best … on and off the court.
