Boxing fans and subscribers of Bridges’ OnlyFans are going to wait a while to see this happen

Sorry dudes, but the “Battle of the Boobs” that Australian boxing champion Ebanie Bridges promised fans between her and up-and-comer Avril Mathie seems to be scrapped all because of a training injury of all things.

The two viral Australian boxers were set to face off in the squared circle on December 9th in order to fight for the highly coveted IBF bantamweight title, but that all seems to be over now since Mathie has had to pull out with only a week until their match would have happened claiming that an injury which occurred during training has forced her to pull out.

It has been announced according to Boxing Scene that Bridges will now be facing off against Mayo Yoshida on the undercard for Regis Progress vs Devin Haney.

According to Boxing Scene, “The 35-year-old Japanese boxer [Yoshida] relocated to New York in search of advancing her career. Her post title reign journey began with a win over Indeya Smith on April 27 at Sony Hall in New York City.

“Her good fortune ran out in her most recent bout, a ten-round decision over Dallas’ Shurretta Metcalf on November 7 at Edison Ballroom, also in NYC.”

While this will certainly be an interesting fight for fans, it is hard to see if this will live up to the expectations that Bridges and Mathie had already established and promised their audiences.

Bridges was already hyping this up for the weigh-in alone. Known for wearing lingerie and bringing tons of viral attention to herself, she promised that between her and Mathie getting up on stage prior to the fight for their weigh-in and face-off alone would “break the internet.”

The Australian champion had said in the lead up to the fight that it “will also get a lot of viewers outside of boxing because people will be interested to see if these two ‘OnlyFans models’ can box.”
