Following a franchise-finest 227-yard game against the Lions, Dallas Cowboys superstar CeeDee Lamb is being beckoned for a drug test by the NFL
CeeDee Lamb had a game that was almost too hard to believe against the Detroit Lions this week. The Dallas playmaker grabbed a franchise-record 13 receptions for 227 yards in the Cowboys’ 20-19 win over a potential playoff opponent. It was so great – in fact – that the NFL is curious if Lamb may have gotten a little extra oomph to achieve those accolades.
Ringing In The New Year Right
Lamb, 24, was selected 17th overall by the Cowboys in the 2020 NFL Draft. Ever since, he’s been one of Jerry Jones’ greatest finds. He proved it once again this week by setting franchise records in receptions and yards. That’s rare air to be in – considering he followed a couple of greats named Irvin and Pearson, among many other legends who suited up in Big D.
With one game to go, CeeDee Lamb leads The League in catches (122) and is second in yards (1,651). He is a shoo-in to be named to his third Pro Bowl and is considered one of the greatest game-breakers in the game today.
“I told you I’d enjoy it more if we won,” Lamb said, per Patrik Walker of the Cowboys’ official website. “It’s a surreal moment for me. Shout out to my guys, we continue to work, continue to build, and continue to grow. I wouldn’t be able to do any of this without them. We’re looking forward to keeping it going.”

CeeDee Lamb Didn’t Have Long To Celebrate
Unfortunately, it didn’t take long for the NFL to step in and rain on the receiver’s parade. Not long after his picture-perfect performance, Lamb found out that he needed to take a random drug test.
In other words? The League wanted to see CeeDee pee… to make sure he wasn’t on a PED.
It was actually CeeDee Lamb himself who shared on his Instagram that the NFL had ordered him to be checked for steroids, testosterone, or possibly even Kryptonite.
Provided CeeDee Lamb passes his supposedly ‘random’ drug test? He and the Cowboys will close out the season against NFC East rival Washington on January 7th.
