Rejoice, Haters! Undoubtedly, many of you (who are very important, and don’t ever let anyone tell you different) have been looking for some fresh ammo during Super Bowl week, and Brittany Mahomes, wife of Patrick, has provided that ammo.

Poor Patrick Mahomes can’t catch a break. Between his recalcitrant brother and his wife loving a good feud, he gets unfair press for his association with them.
Brittany Mahomes has been in the news it seems like dozens of times over the last few years. Most recently, she churned up the Internet Hate Machine by seeming to treat a stadium staffer like dirt.
But this is the one that is sure to bring out proud Haters of every genre: Brittany will appear in the newest upcoming Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition:

Sports Illustrated, which recently announced mass layoffs, has gotten just as much hate as the Mahomes clan in recent years for their editorial choices.
All around, this one doesn’t seem so bad on its face. Brittany looks pretty darn good:
Decent Choice, Considering
The NFL context is what generates the hate on this one. But hear me out: at least they are putting attractive blondes back in the Swimsuit Edition.
After all, this is the same publication that put women with penises on the cover and morbidly obese women in the magazine. Obviously, the publication lost sight of who their real audience is… or was.
Brittany is excited about the new venture.
“I’m truly just so humbled and still in disbelief,” she told SI Swimsuit. “As a girl from Tyler, Texas, who only really knew sports, never in a million years did I think I’d be in [the SI Swimsuit Issue]. I’m just so grateful for this opportunity.”
No word yet on how Patrick feels about the universe ogling his wife, but we live in a brave new world now so his thoughts probably don’t matter.
