Hot off her latest non-Trump scandal, liberal Hollywood actress Alyssa Milano appeared to step in it again. This time, internet denizens are PO’d that she had the gall to attend the Super Bowl – and for what they think is a good reason.

The Rich Get Richer

If you’re wondering why it would be a big deal for Milano to attend the Super Bowl, the reason is simple.

Several weeks ago, the wealthy actress set up a GoFundMe. Why would a Hollywood actress need a GoFundMe? You see, her kid plays Little League and the team wants to make a trip to Cooperstown to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame.

So what’s wrong with that? Well, the fact that everyone assumes Milano isn’t hurting for cash, or at least certainly not compared to the kind of selfless people who usually donate to such things.

As was pointed out in an earlier article, Milano lives in the swanky Simi Hills of Bell Canyon, California. Assuming her son’s baseball team is made up of reasonably local players, it’s unlikely any of the kids on the team come from a poor family. (Though possible!)

Big Game, Big $

So, she’s got money. And proved it again – unless she has a Super Bowl Ticket Fairy who hands out free Super Bowl tickets, she must have spent some big bucks on the big game:

Yes, people are furious. But hold on a second: There might be a perfectly valid reason for her presence at the Super Bowl -Crucial Catch.

Last month, Milano announced that as part of the NFL’s anti-cancer initiatives, lucky winners could have the chance to go to the Super Bowl and meet Milano.

She even shared one such meeting during the Super Bowl on her Instagram account:

There’s a lesson to be learned here. No, it’s not a lesson about assumptions.

It’s more a lesson about how, when you’re already wealthy, other wealthy people will give you things for free – like Super Bowl tickets.
