It’s that time of the year. March Madness. The NCAA Tournament. Former President Barack Obama making his annual picks. NBA legend and media personality Charles Barkley spouting off. Okay, well that last point is a daily tradition.

Like he has done every year since his first year as president in 2009, Obama released bis bracket for the 2024 NCAA Men’s Tournament.

Obama has UConn taking out Kentucky in the National Championship Game. That’s two “Blue Blood” schools right there. It’s not necessarily going out on a limb. The former president also has Baylor and Purdue in the Final 4.

Barkley was having none of it.

“He went with the traditional pick, everyone is picking UConn. So, he’s just copying off someone else’s paper,” Barkley said on CNN.

When Michigan State defeated Mississippi State to open the 2024 NCAA Tournament on Thursday, nearly half of the brackets around the nation were already busted. Obama did pick that correctly.

Though, he joined many others in failing to see Duquesne upset BYU later on Thursday. That busted several brackets. Perhaps, the former president should have read our article on Duquesne before making his pick.

Charles Barkley Has Another Message For Us

“I only fill out one. All those other fools be filling out like five. That’s one of the 10 commandments: you only get one bracket. One bracket, fools,” Barkley said.

Show us a lie. Who fills out more than one bracket? Who has the time? We’re sure your boss at work wouldn’t be too pleaseed with that.

For what it’s worth, President Biden also picked UConn to come out on top. He has the Huskies winning over Houston in the National Championship Game with Tennessee and North Carolina reaching the Final 4.

Biden probably would’ve been better off going with Arizona, North Carolina or Nevada winning it all. Get what we’re stepping in?

Of course, it’s all fun and games. That’s until your bracket is completely busted.
