Mike Tyson had to clear the air after his last opponent, Jake Paul, suggested he had Parkinson’s disease – and still got in the ring for their big fight last November.

“Mike is happy and perfectly healthy,” Tyson’s team said in a statement to TMZ Sports. “He doesn’t have Parkinson’s or any other illness.”

Parkinson’s disease is a progressive neurological disorder leading to motor symptoms like uncontrollable tremors. It also leads to non-motor symptoms such as cognitive changes and mood disorders.

There is no cure for the disease. Most readers are probably aware of the devastating effects of the disease due to the GOAT, Muhammad Ali’s public battle with Parkinson’s.

Jake Paul Said Mike Tyson Cured His Parkinson’s

So why did Mike Tyson and his team have to issue a statement denying he had Parkinson’s disease? Because Jake Paul not only suggested he had it, but also flat-out claimed ‘Iron Mike’ had cured it through the use of psychedelic drugs.

Which would be a hell of a medical revelation considering, as we said, there is no known cure.

During a recent live stream with influencer Adin Ross, Paul asserted that Tyson had used toad venom to fight the disease.

“Ayahuasca is really good for your brain as well. And the same with toads,” Paul stated. “Toad cured Tyson’s Parkinson’s so that he could come back and fight.”

Oddly enough, Ayahuasca also has the side benefit of making a Super Bowl-winning champion believe he is a butterfly. So there’s that.

Jake Denies He Ever Said What He Said

For those wondering how there could have been any confusion on the matter, Paul explained to peeps on social media that you misunderstood what he said because you’re all dolts.

“Bruh…Mike Tyson didn’t have no Parkinsons..WTF. Why the f— is the internet so stupid for? I misspoke,” he wrote on X. “Meant he used a toad to heal his pain. He has spoken about it many times. Just like I do. Just like many do.”

Calling everybody ‘stupid’ after you ‘misspoke’ is quite a bold strategy, Cotton. Also, how does one confuse the word “pain” with “Parkinson’s”?

Not to mention, bro, you just fought a nearly 60-year-old man who needs toad freaking venom to deal with pain. How are you feeling about that, Chief?

Who knows if Mike Tyson will have to indulge in some toad venom to help with his mental health as well. The former heavyweight champ revealed that he experienced depression after losing his boxing match to Paul last month.

Tyson, who reportedly made $20 million from the fight against Paul, lost by unanimous decision.

$20 million cures a lot of depression. Probably buys a lot of toad, too.
