Since the Chiefs got a whoopin’ in the Super Bowl, the Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce, 35, and his pop star girlfriend Taylor Swift, also 35, have been laying low.
That’s why fans got very excited on Monday when Kelce and Swift were spotted together for the first time since his brutal Super Bowl defeat and announcement that he would run it back for another season.
Kelce And Swift Are Spotted Together
Video surfaced on Instagram showing Kelce and Swift grabbing dinner in Park City, Utah last week. After their meal, Kelce can be seen holding the door of a white Range Rover for Swift in the footage, which was filmed from a distance. Once Swift is inside the car, Kelce proceeds to follow her in. Swift is is wearing a gray coat, while Kelce is decked out in a beige outfit.
The video immediately went viral. Indeed, it marked the first time that Kelce and Swift were seen together since his loss. It’s not known why they are in Park City. However, this is a ritzy city that is frequented by many a celebrity. Indeed, it’s not surprising that Kelce and Swift would want to vacation there as they enjoy some much-needed downtime.

Kelce And Swift’s ‘Romantic Getaway’
This comes weeks after sources claimed that following the Super Bowl, Kelce and Swift headed off on a “private, romantic getaway.”
“Taylor and Travis had a really nice time reconnecting after a very busy year,” an insider told Page Six at the end of February. “Taylor and Travis have stepped out for a date night since returning to the US but went unnoticed when they did so.”
“They weren’t photographed or anything, and enjoyed a low-key night out on the town together,” the source added.
It seems that unfortunately for Kelce and Swift, they weren’t so lucky on their Monday evening date night!
Despite the brutal nature of Kelce’s Super Bowl loss, Swift has been there for him. Another insider said that she “knows how hard” Kelce worked all season. Swift also “was thrilled to be at the Super Bowl to show her support.”
“Taylor knows Travis took this loss very hard but she couldn’t be more proud of him regardless of the outcome,” this source continued.
Kelce Decides Not To Retire
Kelce had been using his time since the Super Bowl to consider retirement. He ultimately decided not to retire, and to play another season for the Chiefs. Clearly, Kelce is hoping to end his career on a high, rather than on this Super Bowl loss.
When recently asked by his older former NFL star Jason Kelce if he has any extra motivation heading into the next season, the tight end replied, “Yes and no. Unfortunately I’ve been in a situation where I didn’t play my best in the final game and the biggest game of my life.”
“You try and make it everything and you don’t find the love of the game doing that, and I feel like I play my best when I’m out there playing for the right reasons,” Kelce continued. “Can it be motivation in the offseason to go out and get a few extra reps, go out and run that extra mile, go out and get a few more catches on the jugs, go out and work a little bit harder, watch some extra film.”
Clearly, Kelce isn’t using this offseason to solely spend time with Swift. It certainly seems like he wants to go into the next NFL season stronger than ever. That’s why we can only imagine working out is taking up quite a bit of his time. Hopefully Kelce’s date night was fun. Now get back to work, Travis!
