The event scheduling site Eventbrite has jumped into the war on women by canceling the event page for “Let Women Speak Austin,” a rally meant to advocate for women’s-only spaces like restrooms, locker rooms, and any other places you wouldn’t want a dude to catch you with your pants down.
The ridiculous reason Eventbrite chose to cancel this event put on by women, for women? They called it “hateful content” and said it violated their user policy.
“We have determined that your event is not permitted on the Eventbrite platform as it violates our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service, specifically our police on Hateful, Dangerous, or Violent Content and Events,” Eventbrite sent in an email to the Independent Women’s Forum (IWF), who was leading the event.
“As a result your event has been unpublished.”
Don’t you think this is kind of funny? After all, Eventbrite had no issues at all actively promoting Black Lives Matter rallies, which not only broke all the left-wing Covid social distancing and public gathering mandates but almost without skipping a beat always led to violence, rioting, and looting.
Whatever, right? Racism is an active threat to our very existence and women complaining about men in their restrooms is just a conservative fairytale. Right?
Well, IWF’s President Carrie Lukas sent a letter to Eventbrite requesting that they review their appeal to have their event page reinstated, and did not mince words.
“It is outrageous—and blatantly sexist—that you have chose to cancel ‘Let Women Speak Austin,'” Lukas wrote in the appeal letter. “Inviting survivors of sexual assault to share their concerns about being forced to undress in front of biological males is not hateful — it’s empowering.”

Eventbrite’s response? Silence. They must have been too busy promoting more drag queen story times.
Progressives will probably be out in force as this story gets bigger, and attempt to pull the “They’re a private company they can do as they want” card, which they only ever pull out when conservatives get censored or canceled for something. They’re right, they are a private company, which means that normal human beings who weren’t born five seconds ago and know that there are only two genders can go find another platform.
That is until that platform is deemed a ‘threat to democracy’ for hosting conservative events and gets nuked from the internet.
