American evangelist and humanitarian Franklin Graham joined the many public figures calling out the U.S. Women’s Team not simply for losing against Sweden at the World Cup, but because of how they behaved and disrespected the national anthem, embarrassing America on the global stage.

“The US Women’s National Soccer Team lost to Sweden yesterday at the 2023 Women’s World Cup,” Graham posted on X, the site formerly known as Twitter, after the team was eliminated.
“I used to pull for our women’s soccer team, but recently they have shown disrespect for the US & have used their platform to promote the LGBTQ agenda. When they lost, I wasn’t sad. I wish they didn’t feel that way, but when players think it is more about them than the nation they represent, I can’t support that.
“I agree with former President [Donald Trump] who said about the team: ‘WOKE EQUALS FAILURE.'”

Graham echoed the sentiment of former President Donald Trump, who is well known for not being a fan of ultra-woke Megan Rapinoe. Trump celebrated the USWNT’s loss on his Truth Social platform.
“The ‘shocking and totally unexpected’ loss by the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team to Sweden is fully emblematic of what is happening to our once great Nation under Crooked Joe Biden,” posted the former POTUS.
“Many of our players were openly hostile to America – No other country behaved in such a manner, or even close. WOKE EQUALS FAILURE. Nice shot Megan, the USA is going to Hell!!! MAGA.”

While this ultimately spells the end for Rapinoe’s career, as she already announced her intentions to retire after the World Cup, this probably won’t be the last time anyone, including former President Trump, calls her out for letting her woke-flag-fly.
The soccer star turned activist has used her platform to push a far-left political agenda, such as easy access to abortions, allowing men to compete against women in women’s sports, and child mutilation via ‘transgender’ surgeries. Her and spouse Sue Bird also are starting a film company which will exclusively cater to the LGBTQ+ agenda and progressive causes.
