Dave Brown, coach of the Canby High School girls’ varsity tennis team in Oregon, resigned from his position this week. Brown cited the Biden administration’s Title IX policy as the reason for his resignation, stating that it puts female athletes and girl’s sports at risk.

He announced his decision in a video posted to Instagram.

Coach Dave Brown Resigns, Won’t Go Along With Transgender Policy

In a striking blow on behalf of sanity, Coach Brown said he could not sit idly by as the administration, the state, or the school district allows biological males to compete against girls.

“I can no longer stand by and watch as their dreams are shattered and their opportunities are taken from them. I can no longer stand by silently, while all the work that was put into Title 9 is disregarded,” he said. “I cannot support policies that put the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health of women at risk.”

Brown, according to ABC 15 News, has a fairly impressive and expansive record in his coaching career, earning “667 wins with 423 losses in more than 1,090 tennis and basketball games.”

There is an obvious disparity between male and female tennis players that would give transgender student-athletes an unfair advantage in competition. As is the case with most sports.

The fastest recorded serve by a women’s tennis player doesn’t even rank in the top 50 for men.

Don’t believe there’d be an advantage as Coach Dave Brown contends? Still pretending the Billie Jean King against Bobby Riggs was a legitimate competition?

Let’s introduce you to one Serena Williams, who said she wouldn’t be competitive against one of the top men in the game during her peak. Like, at all.

During an appearance on the David Letterman show in 2013, Serena told the host that she would easily lose to men’s tennis player Andy Murray 6-0, 6-0 in a matter of few minutes.

Coach Dave Brown continued to blast the concept of boys competing in girl’s sports, pointing out other less obvious issues with doing so.

“We have boys in the locker room watching girls get ready for practice or a match or a game. How wrong is that for a girl to have to endure something like that?” he asked.

“What we would have called five or six years ago somebody going to jail is now acceptable in high schools and middle schools,” added Brown. “This is absolutely wrong when a girl has to fear this, but she can’t say anything.”

Women are told to remain silent on the matter because a minuscule fraction of the population in the form of biological males who pretend to be female might have their feelings hurt.

What a world we live in today.
