The radical leftist organization, National Organization For Women (NOW), that describes itself as a “intersectional, multi-issue, multi-strategy organization that takes a holistic approach to women’s rights” recently called for the NFL and commissioner Roger Goodell to permanently ban Jon Gruden.

Gruden won the Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2002 and was recently the coach of the Las Vegas Raiders before being forced to resign in 2021 after numerous emails were leaked to The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal with the outlets claiming the emails contained homophobic, misogynistic, and racist rhetoric.

The coach is currently suing the NFL and Roger Goodell accusing them of attempting “destroy [his] career and reputation.” It specifically claims that the NFL leaked the emails to The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times in “a Soviet-style character assassination.”

He recently addressed the content of these emails and asked for forgiveness and a second chance during an appearance at the Little Rock Touchdown Club saying, “I’m not going to say anything but honest things here. I’m ashamed about what has come about in these emails. And I’ll make no excuses for it. It’s shameful.”

“But I am a good person. I believe that. I go to church. I’ve been married for 31 years. I’ve got three great boys. I still love football. I’ve made some mistakes, but I don’t think anybody in here hasn’t. And I just ask for forgiveness and hopefully I get another shot,” he said.

NOW reacted to Gruden’s plea for forgiveness and a second chance by telling TMZ Sports he should be banned from the NFL permanently.

The organization, which supports the murder of children, stated, “Jon Gruden should not be reinstated by the NFL.”

“If hired back, this once again proves the NFL values misogyny, homophobia and racism,” the organization claimed.

While NOW wants Gruden banned for life, one of Gruden’s former players, Andre Rison, believes he deserves a second chance.

He explained, “No one is God. For some reason in today’s time everybody think they’re God now because of social media and whatever other platforms that they can voice their opinions. God gave him a gift to coach and it’s up to him and God. If he repents and forgives for his negatives, and his faults, and his defaults, I have no problem with it.”

“He’s a great friend of mine,” he continued. “Will always be a great friend of mind regardless, It’s like no out in this world has been perfect. I tell you what, for him to be a racist, if he was a racist, he darn sure gave a lot of black athletes chances and opportunities to put food on the table for their families.”

“Now, we all say things that we regret,” Rison asserted. “I’m not going to back him if he’s on the negative side especially on that type of coin, and he knows that. But I know deep down inside the guy loves the game and if it’s all possible, hey, if I had a chance to hire him who wouldn’t Jon Gruden?”
